Meirzhan Yessimkhanov visited GITEX GLOBAL

Activat VC's COO, Meirzhan Yessimkhanov, visited GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World, held in Dubai. The scale of the event was impressive: more than 30 halls, thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors. A huge number of technologies were presented - from microchips to advanced solutions in the field of AI and virtual reality.

The venture capital market was given special attention within the Expand North Star zone, emphasizing its dynamic growth. Participants included startups and funds from various regions including MENA, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America and the US.

It was nice to see Activat VC portfolio startups - PLATMA, Epoint.az and GLORRI - among the participants and speakers, as well as other Kazakhstani startups. Given the trends and development of the venture capital market in MENA, many funders should consider entering this market, especially as some are already doing so successfully.

The event provided valuable new contacts, strengthened partnerships and provided clear guidelines for the future development of the Activat VC fund.
