12 Startups from Kazakhstan started accelerating in Silicon Valley
Astana Hub and Draper University together with Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the World Bank within the framework of the Productive Innovation Stimulation Project launched the second stream of the Hero Training accelerator program created for entrepreneurs and startups seeking to scale their business in the international market.
The second stream of the Hero Training program attracted great interest from entrepreneurs. A total of 129 applications were received from startups from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. All startups passed a strict selection process, including screening and diagnostic stages.
Based on the results of project diagnostics, 80 startups were selected to participate in the Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship online pre-acceleration, which lasted two weeks. After that, only 12 startups were selected to participate in the offline accelerator Hero Training at Draper University, located in the heart of Silicon Valley: AlgoFarm, Prosper Pay, Loca, Pipedata AI, EZ FACTOR, Hired Valley, TrustMe, myMind, Oku Toku, WhoockAI, Oraclus, CheckAuto.
